d) We are committed to finding and implementing solutions to critical issues facing the aging population, namely: health care, nutrition, exercise, transportation, housing, and fraudulent schemes.
e) We recommend an increase in geriatric education for medical students in all state medical schools.
f) Medicare and Social Security must be protected and adequately funded. Efforts to privatize them or convert them into vouchers should be opposed.”
