The Family Caregiver Platform Project made a submission to the Republican Party in California. Naomi Kirschenbaum, the FCPP state contact person for California, submitted platform suggestions to the California Republican Platform Committee via email on June 25, 2015. Key Dates for California Republicans

  • The California Republican Party elected the members to sit on their Platform Committee in May, 2015.
  • Amendments to the party platform were to be submitted by June 19, 2015.
  • The State Convention was held in Anaheim on September 18-20, 2015. The platform was approved.
  • The 2016 state convention for the California Republican Party was held in Burlingame on April 29, 2016.
