Recommendations for Oklahoma from the Alzheimer’s Association

• Evaluate the ability for the state to provide a financial incentive such as, but not limited to, a tax credit for those caregivers who give up their income to care for someone with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
• Address the needs of employees who are caregivers to persons with Alzheimer’s disease through the use of on-site support groups, case management, and other initiatives.
